get caught up
when you have
nothing to say
like somehow
your silence
represents
judgement
of not only
the situation
but of who they are
as a person
all because
you have chosen
to say
nothing
while they choose
to steal your tongue
and your mind
and speak things
in your name
then try to blame you
for saying them
when you have said
nothing
accusing you
of thinking yourself
superior
and without flaw
all because
you have said
nothing
reminding you
of all the reasons
why you ain’t all that
what you did back when
with who what where
and then
telling you why
you shouldn’t be
saying nothing
to them at all
